Also, seven scheduled domestic flights.
Upon arriving in Mombasa, Isana House is just an hour away by car or taxi. Although traveling by bus is an option, it takes longer, so we recommend taking a taxi or driving along the coast.
If driving, you will have to rent, and gas will cost roughly 10 U.S. Dollars or about 1,250 Kenyan Shillings.
By Taxi, it would cost you anywhere from $110 -$150 U.S Dollars or roughly 14,000 to 19,500 Kenyan Shillings.
Kilifi experiences two main seasons: a longer rainy season from March to May with a peak in April, and a shorter rainy season in November and December, with the rest of the year being generally dry.
The period between the rainy seasons, from July to October, and from January to February, is generally dry.
You will experience warm temperatures year-round, with average temperatures above 25°C
If you need medical assistance while at Isana House, the best place to go is Kilifi County Hospital. It is the main hospital in Kilifi and is trained to handle snake bites.
