Isana House – House of the Rising Sun – is located just south of Kilifi Town on Kenya’s beautiful, tropical North Coast. Completed at the end of 2023, Isana House has an amazing team ready to welcome you.

Isana House is staffed with an incredible group of individuals who want to make sure your stay is world class. Kazungu, our chef, along with Josephine and Rehema, our housekeepers, all live on the property. Kennedy lives offsite, but comes daily to manage the gardens and pool. They are committed to ensuring your stay is comfortable and that all of your needs are met.
Our Chef, Kazungu, leads the team and is tasked with making your culinary experience at Isana House unforgettable.
Kazungu is an experienced and talented chef and can prepare dishes ranging from local Swahili fare to international favorites, including delicious vegetarian options.
When you book a stay at Isana House you will receive a set of menus. Once you choose what dishes you would like to experience during your stay, Kazungu gets to work to assure you have an amazing culinary experience.
Our Housekeeper – Josephine – manages day-to-day cleaning, laundry, and table service.
Josephine and Rehema are here to make your stay convenient and comfortable.
From the moment you step into Isana House your bags will be taken to your room, you will find your beds beautifully made and turned down later in the evening prior to bedtime.
Rehema works closely with Josephine to make sure your stay is clean, convenient, and comfortable.
Alongside Josephine, Rehema tends to cleaning, laundry, and table service.
Our gardener and pool cleaner, Kennedy, maintains Isana House’s grounds, gardens, and the pool.
Kennedy is also in charge of the front gate access and the security of the property during the day.
Isana House is managed by Road East. The management team, led by Jess, all live locally and have great local knowledge. The Road East team is a wonderful resource for advice during your stay. They are also close-by in case of any emergencies.
